Nurturing the potential of orphans and children from underprivileged families and providing a path to a brighter future is a pressing concern in Indonesia, a country with many disadvantaged children. As we look to address this, Tahfiz Sponsorship emerges as a beacon of hope and transformation.
Through Tahfiz Sponsorship, we’re fostering their spiritual growth by enabling them to memorize the Quran and ensuring they receive a formal education.
A remarkable aspect of Tahfiz education is that these aspiring scholars simultaneously graduate from high school upon completing their hifz (memorization of the Quran). This dual achievement equips them with religious knowledge and the academic foundation to thrive in the modern world. It’s a decisive step towards breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering these orphans to become educated, responsible citizens.
After Sponsoring
Upon sponsoring a Tahfiz student for at least 6 months, you will receive communication via whatsapp, along with a certificate and details about the student. We will keep you informed about the student’s progress and any developments in their educational journey.
If the student(s) you sponsored graduates or leaves the orphanage while the sponsorship is current, your sponsorship will be transferred to the next available Tahfiz students. The same process will apply, and a new certificate will be issued.
If you’re unable to sponsor a Tahfiz student, you can still give Sadaqah to support their journey. Your donation will help cover their essential needs, ensuring they continue memorizing the Qur’an with ease.
Who are the beneficiaries?
The beneficiaries of the Tahfiz Sponsorship Program are students who are committed to memorizing the Quran while receiving a formal education. Many of them are orphans or come from underprivileged backgrounds, facing financial and social challenges that make it difficult for them to pursue their studies.
This program provides them with the necessary support to continue their Quranic memorization while ensuring they have access to education, accommodation, meals, and other essential needs. Through sponsorship, these students gain the opportunity to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
How will I be updated about my sponsored student?
Sponsors who commit to at least 6 months will receive regular updates via WhatsApp, including details on the student’s progress and achievements. Additionally, every 3 months, sponsors will receive video updates showcasing their student’s journey. If there are any major changes, such as graduation or the student leaving the program, sponsors will be notified promptly.
What are the sponsorship options?
The sponsorship amount is AUD 50 per month, and donors can choose from the following durations:
• 1 year (AUD 600)
• 2 years (AUD 1,200)
• 3 years (AUD 1,800)
What happens if the student leaves or graduates?
If the student you sponsored graduates or leaves the program while your sponsorship is active, your sponsorship will automatically be transferred to the next available Hafiz student. A new certificate will be issued, and updates about the new student will be provided.
